Our story started in the summer of 1994, when our founder taught 50 kids to swim in his parents’ backyard pool. Not exactly a corporate headquarters, but it worked. It gave us the freedom to focus on what still matters most today: real progress in the pool, strong relationships with families, and giving back to our community.
Today, Making Waves has grown, but our focus is the same: helping swimmers build real skills, real confidence, and real progress in the water. We bring energy, experience, and care to every lesson, while keeping things positive, welcoming, and fun.
We’re building a team of CSR Stars - organized, upbeat people who love helping others, keeping things running smoothly, and making families feel welcome from the moment they walk in.
If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, staying busy, and bringing good energy to the room, keep reading.
