Junior Project Coordinator – Commercial Roofing

About Us
iTeck Roofing Inc. is an established commercial and industrial roofing contractor specializing in roofing, waterproofing and architectural cladding throughout Ontario.
We are looking for a motivated, organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will support our Project Management and Estimating departments with daily coordination, purchasing, documentation and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with daily project coordination, scheduling and follow-ups.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
- Assist with material ordering, purchase orders, supplier communication and delivery tracking.
- Monitor project schedules, deadlines, outstanding approvals and action items.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up with general contractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Maintain organized project folders and records using SharePoint.
- Assist with change orders, progress reports, deficiency tracking and project closeouts.
- Support the estimating department with tender documentation, supplier quotations and bid preparation.
- Coordinate information between office staff, field crews and project management.
- Take initiative, identify outstanding tasks and ensure timely follow-up.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of construction administration or project coordination experience preferred.
- Commercial roofing or general construction experience is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Spanish language skills are strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with SharePoint or construction management software is an asset.
- Ability to read construction drawings is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Reliable, proactive and willing to learn.
