Description
The Python Developer will develop software solutions using Python, applying strong software engineering principles and data manipulation techniques. The role involves analyzing source code and data flows using AST-based and pattern-based static analysis while working with multiple programming languages.
The successful candidate will also contribute to Gen AI/LLM-powered solutions, API and backend service development, usable interfaces, and automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes across environments.
Responsibilities
Python and Software Development
- Develop software using Python with strong object-oriented and functional design practices.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis to software engineering tasks.
Data Lineage and Source Code Analysis
- Analyze data lineage and data flows by parsing and reviewing source code.
- Apply AST-based and pattern-based static analysis techniques.
- Read and analyze code written in multiple programming languages.
Gen AI and LLM Development
- Work with prompt design, tool/function calling, and agent orchestration.
- Apply understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and semantic search concepts.
API and Application Development
- Design APIs and develop backend services.
- Apply front-end fundamentals to build usable interfaces.
Pipelines and Deployment
- Support build and test automation.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and release software across environments.
Data Manipulation and Transformation
- Perform data manipulation and transformation as required by application and pipeline workflows.
