Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A for a 9-month contract. Job # 308872
Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Develop financial models of the businesses, including consolidated cash flow.
- Prepare variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
- Prepare financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Assist with Business Unit budgets and forecasts and their consolidation into the total Company budget.
- Guide Divisional management in understanding their Business Unit (BU) financial statements. This includes the revenue and operating cost components mentioned above as well as the overhead components that are charged to the BU financial statements.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on sales or other areas as requested.
- Prepare meaningful analytics that foster tactical and strategic thinking regarding price setting and sales and margin growth.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
- Possess an Accounting designation, MBA or in process.
- Previous experience in financial reporting, budgeting and financial and cost analysis.
- Proficiency with financial modeling, pricing analytics and optimization, margin profitability.
- Self-directed, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner.
- Effective communication style at all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills; a collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mindset.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and proficiency with analytical tools.
