Before you start
Start by looking up the ticket with its number and licence plate through the town parking portal. Submit the Screening Request form, explain the dispute and attach the documents or photographs you want reviewed. The plate owner remains responsible even if another person was driving.
The screening officer can uphold the penalty, reduce it or extend the time to pay. The town says a valid penalty cannot be cancelled simply because of the reason for parking, short duration or lack of knowledge. A dispute starts an independent process, not an informal request to a councillor.
